Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has weighed in on the ongoing political debate surrounding the rejection of an impeachment motion against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar, asserting that the move lacked merit from the outset.
Speaking in Kolkata, Pradhan firmly dismissed the opposition’s attempt, stating, “There was no basis to it,” while backing the decision taken by Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla to reject the motion.
