Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India
Amid the high intensity political campaign in West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak expressed strong confidence in the Bharatiya Janata Party’s electoral prospects, claiming that the party is heading towards a decisive victory.
Speaking in Lucknow, Brajesh Pathak said that the BJP is likely to win the West Bengal elections by a one sided margin. He suggested that the political atmosphere in the state is shifting in favour of the BJP, based on public response and ongoing campaign activities.
He claimed that the BJP is winning the elections comfortably, indicating strong confidence within the party ahead of the results.
Targeting the ruling Trinamool Congress, Brajesh Pathak alleged that issues such as lawlessness, disorder, and what he described as “goondaism” have weakened the party’s position in the state. He said that such allegations have impacted public perception and contributed to growing dissatisfaction.
He stated that the TMC has been “completely exposed” and is facing the consequences of governance related issues, according to his assessment.
His remarks come at a time when political leaders across parties are making strong claims and counterclaims as part of their campaign narratives. The West Bengal Assembly elections have become one of the most closely watched political contests, with multiple parties competing for power.
The campaign in the state has seen intense rallies, roadshows, and public meetings, with leaders addressing key issues such as development, governance, law and order, and voter concerns.
Brajesh Pathak’s statement reflects BJP’s aggressive campaign stance and confidence, while also highlighting the sharp political divide between major parties in the state.
As the election process continues, such statements are expected to further intensify the political discourse, with parties seeking to influence voter sentiment and strengthen their position.
With strong claims being made from different sides, the West Bengal elections remain a high stakes political contest, drawing national attention.
