KOLKATA, WEST BENGAL — BJP candidate from the Beleghata Assembly constituency Partha Chaudhary has criticised the ruling Trinamool Congress (TMC) government, alleging a lack of basic facilities and development in the area.
Speaking in Kolkata, Chaudhary said that residents of Beleghata have not received the amenities and infrastructure they were entitled to under the current government. He claimed that the needs of the people have remained unmet, leading to dissatisfaction among voters.
Outlining his vision, he stated that the BJP aims to provide better security and improved living conditions, promising a more stable and development-focused administration if elected. He emphasized that public safety and access to essential services would be key priorities.
Chaudhary also highlighted the demand for change among local residents, saying that people are looking for a “new Beleghata” marked by peace, security, and progress. He suggested that voters are increasingly inclined toward alternatives that promise stronger governance and accountability.
The remarks come amid ongoing campaigning for the West Bengal Assembly elections, where issues such as development, law and order, and governance continue to dominate political discourse.
Partha Chaudhary’s statements reflect the BJP’s campaign focus on infrastructure, safety, and change in governance as it seeks to expand its support base in West Bengal.
