Bhajan Lal Sharma Predicts BJP Victory in West Bengal, Alleges Public Anger Against TMC…

Date:

KOLKATA, WEST BENGAL — Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma has expressed confidence in a strong electoral performance for the BJP in West Bengal, claiming that a “wave of change” is visible across the state.

Speaking in Kolkata, Sharma alleged that there is growing public dissatisfaction with the Trinamool Congress (TMC) government, citing issues such as corruption and appeasement politics. He said that voters are increasingly seeking an alternative that promises development and governance reforms.

He asserted that people in West Bengal have made up their minds and are looking toward a change in leadership, adding that the BJP is poised to benefit from this sentiment. According to him, the party is likely to form the next government in the state with a significant majority.

Sharma also подчеркнул that development under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is a key factor influencing voter sentiment, suggesting that the BJP’s governance model at the national level is resonating with voters in the state.

The remarks come amid ongoing political campaigning ahead of the West Bengal Assembly elections, where issues such as governance, development, and corruption remain central to the electoral narrative.

The Trinamool Congress, led by Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, has not directly responded to these specific comments, but has consistently defended its record on development and welfare initiatives in the state.

Bhajan Lal Sharma’s statement reflects the BJP’s optimistic outlook in West Bengal, as political parties intensify their campaigns and attempt to shape voter perceptions ahead of the elections.
