The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has secured a historic victory in the 2026 West Bengal Assembly elections, emerging as the dominant political force in the state and preparing to form its first government in Bengal. The statement further clarified that individuals linked to the TMC and accused of atrocities, intimidation, or unlawful activities would not be allowed to use the BJP as a shield from accountability. “The law will take its course. BJP stands for a clean, transparent Bengal, and no criminal or anti-social element will be allowed into the party,” the spokesperson said.
