Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh : India has taken a decisive step in strengthening its strategic defence architecture with the commissioning of its indigenous nuclear-powered ballistic missile submarine INS Aridhaman into the Indian Navy. The induction ceremony, held in Visakhapatnam, was led by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, marking a moment of significant national importance.
INS Aridhaman, part of the Arihant-class submarines, is a 7,000-tonne vessel that has successfully completed extensive sea trials before entering active service.
